A Trees Worth Exhibition
'A Trees Worth' Exhibition asked us to re-frame trees, listen to trees and celebrate their 'worth'.
Thus we exhibited two work at Counihan Gallery in Brunswick, Melbourne. The first work being a projection of satellite remote sensing time series analysis mapping vegetation cover across the City of Moreland.
The second; a limited edition print based on the projected data communicating suburb specific information.
In this way we consider the idea of the 'Overview Effect' from a city design perspective. Can we prompt perspective change of the viewer to recognise they’re part of a system and a unified tree ‘field’ through near real-time Earth observations? To recognise nature is heaving, pulsing and exchanging as a field of information.
